Yes — you can set an optional 4-digit PIN during prank setup. The result screen is locked behind it, so the victim can't panic-delete before you get the phone back.

Nope. Shreekd works on any iPhone with a front camera and iOS 16 or later. We use Apple's Vision face-landmark detection, which is software-based.

No. The video lives on your phone, in Shreekd's private sandbox, encrypted by iOS. You choose whether to share it, save it to Photos, or delete it.

Camera (required — it's the controller and the recorder). Microphone (required — we record the scream). That's it.

The game and the recording work offline. Subscription checks need the internet on first launch, but Shreekd remembers your Pro status for a while so brief outages are fine.

Make sure you're in decent lighting, face-on to the camera (not tilted 90°), and the front camera isn't blocked by a case or finger. If the little nose dot doesn't show up during calibration, try closing and reopening the app.

Fair. Tell the person who pranked you to delete the video, and don't let them post it without your say-so. If you think it's already out there without your consent, most platforms have a "report content involving me" option. We're sorry about that — Shreekd is supposed to be a shared laugh, not a roast.
